Another victim has come forward in the case against alleged rapist Richard Hart of Belmont, Ohio and police are urging anyone who had sexual contact with the man to see their doctor at once.
According to the Belmont County Sheriff's Department, another victim has made accusations against Hart, who was arrested in March of 2012 on 10 counts of rape. Hart, an employee of a mining company, managed to post an enormous bond and get out of jail. He went straight to an overpass on I-70 and jumped off in a suicide attempt; but he lived, and now, reportedly an amputee, he is living in a nursing home in Monroe County, still awaiting trial.
Police are now urging any other potential victims to come forward and to contact the sheriff's department.
Belmont County Sheriff Dave Lucas also urges anyone who has had sexual contact with Hart to alert his department and to see their doctor immediately, for reasons that can't be disclosed due to privacy laws.
