The Edison Wildcats held off an upset bid at the hands of the Buckeye Local Panthers, rallying for a 26-22 win in Richmond.
Edison quarterback Nolan Marcus ran for a score, and threw for a touchdown pass in the first half.
And with Buckeye Local leading 22-20, late in the fourth quarter, Ethan Shannon scored his second rushing touchdown to give the Wildcats the lead.
Edison, winners of straight, improved to 4-2 on the season. The Cats visit Harrison Central (2-4) on Friday night.
The Panthers fall to 0-6 and will visit Martins Ferry (5-1) next Friday night.
