The Linsly Cadets chalked up a second straight victory on Saturday afternoon with a 26-20 win over the Columbus Crusaders.
The Crusaders, now 1-5 on the season, have dropped four straight games.
Linsly junior workhorse Chimechi Oparanozie lugged the ball 24 times for 185 yards and scored three touchdowns on runs of 3, 2 and 22 yards.
The Cadets defense had four interceptions, two apiece from juniors Hayden Gaus and Zak Kriechbaum, who returned one 60 yards for a touchdown.
At halftime, Linsly senior Frances Frazier, of Washington, PA, picked the white rose and was named Homecoming Queen.
The Cadets, now 4-2, visit Western Reserve (2-3), next Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.
