"Rubberneck" Tour Held in Belmont County

This year was the 41st year for the free, drive-it-yourself, "Rubberneck Tour," in Belmont County. Some of the stops include "Quaker Acres," a home build in 1830 by Josiah Fox, a naval Architect under president Washington.

Fox was involved in designing of the USS Constitution and several other ships. The Stallions 4-H club had a display at this location also. Another stop was the Concord meeting cemetery in Colerain, Mark Wilson's fish ponds, and the Hill Top social hall.

The Rubberneck tour is sponsored by Belmont County Tourism Council, OSU Extension and the Belmont Soil and Water Conservation District.
