Bellaire Bridge Owner Pleads Not Guilty in Federal Court

The owner of the Bellaire Bridge has entered his plea in a federal court in Columbus.

On Tuesday, Lee Chaklos pled not guilty in U.S. District Court to criminal contempt.  A judge set the trial for November 12 at 10 a.m.  


If found guilty of criminal contempt, Chaklos could face six months in prison and a $5,000 fine. Chaklos already owes the court $85,000 in outstanding sanctions.
