Kindred Communications recently announced a new director of sales for the six-station group, which is now located in the Kindred-Capital Building at 555 Fifth Ave. in Huntington.

Brandy Ray comes to Kindred Communications after serving as the general sales manager for Bristol Broadcasting in Charleston, from 2009-13.

"Ray is a fantastic addition for our business community," Kindred President Mike Kirtner said. "She is an extremely knowledgeable and aggressive addition to our broadcast team. 

"Her enthusiasm is contagious, and will help our company to catapult broadcasting in our Tri-State area to the next level."

Ray was recognized as one of the 25 Most Successful Women in Broadcasting in 2011 by the Radio Advertising Bureau. She also has experience in broadcast sales in both Charlotte and in Wilmington, both in North Carolina.
