BELLAIRE, Ohio -

The Bellaire Police Department is investigating after shots were fired in Elm Alley on Monday afternoon around 4:16 p.m. Chief Mike Kovalyk says no one was injured, and they are working on a few leads.

"We did recover casings from a handgun," he said. "We have a couple of names that have been mentioned. We are looking for a possible vehicle and individuals that may be in that vehicle."

However, Kovalyk is not releasing a description of the vehicle they are searching for.

Neighbors said incidents like this are becoming all too common in their area.
