Wheeling Park Rolls Over John Marshall

The No.7 Wheeling Park Patriots capped the fourth 9-1 season in school history with a 54-21 victory over rival John Marshall at Monarch Stadium.

It was the Patriots' sixth straight win over JM.

Wheeling Park senior quarterback Zach Phillips tossed three touchdowns passes and threw for 227 yards passing Brad Kouski, becoming  the school's all-time leading passer with over 3,000 career yards.

Wheeling Park running back Savion Johnson rushed for 203 yards, becoming the first sophomore in school history to break the 1,000-yard barrier. Senior receiver Eric Banks caught six passes for 68 yards and became the school's all-time leading receiver, passing Seth Abraham. Senior fullback Geremy Paige carried the ball three times and scored on all three, on runs of 53, 6 and 4.

John Marshall ends the season at 4-6.
