According to Dan Guida, who represents the City of Benwood, Chaklos misrepresented the fact that he has three liens, totaling $1.5 million, on the bridge. Guida also feels that Chaklos underestimated the value of the scrap from the bridge. Guida said he believes the bridge itself is worth $1 million, while it will take $2-3 million to tear down.
