Trial Date Set for Wheeling Attorney Accused of Intimidating a Witness

The trial date has been set for a Wheeling attorney accused of intimidating a witness and making threats in official and political matters while representing a former police officer.

Officials say Paul J. Harris was hired to represent former officer Kevin Junkins, who was arrested in 2011 on charges of possession, burglary, and embezzlement. Harris is charged with conspiracy to commit threats in official and political matters, conspiracy to commit intimidation of a witness, obstruction of an officer, and conspiracy to obstruct an officer. He will face those charges during his trial on June 9.

Also charged in the case is private investigator Franklin D. Streets, Jr., who is charged with intimidation of a witness, threats in official and political matters, obstruction of an officer and conspiracy.
