    Elizabeth Sweeney Athol, a 1982 Bethany College graduate and Pittsburgh attorney, has been selected Alumna of the Year.

Jeffrey A. Holmstrand, an attorney for Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso, has been awarded the AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. 

This rating is a significant accomplishment that signifies that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence, including legal ability and ethical standards. 

Holmstrand, who works in the firm's Wheeling office, focuses his statewide practice on defending product liability, mass torts/class action and complex insurance disputes as well as handling appellate issues. 

He earned both his bachelor's and law degrees from the University of Michigan. He holds leadership positions in state and national bar organizations and has written and lectured on a variety of issues related to product liability and mass tort law. 

Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso, founded in 1991, also has offices in Charleston and Morgantown.
