The next phase of upgrades started on Monday as renovations continued across the West Liberty University campus.
The football field at West Liberty University is going through some big changes, and on Monday morning, demolition started for the complex. Some of the plans include replacing the press box and fan seating. On Monday, a wrecking ball was on the scene to start the demolition.
The upgrades are thanks to generous donations from Gary West and his wife Flip. New lights were also installed this year, and the team held their first night game with new turf on the field. The lights and field renovations were also thanks to donations from the West family.
The renovations are set to be complete for the start of the next football season.
