It's been a little over two months since an explosion leveled the home of the Mozingo family and killed their 13-year-old daughter Hannah.
On Tuesday night, the family held a reception to say "thank you" to the many community members who reached out during their time of need. The loss of Hannah is still very difficult for family members to speak about, and they appointed close family friend, C.J. Grishkevich, to read a letter they'd written in remembrance of their beloved Hannah. It read, in part, "Hannah loved cheering. She cheered for Follansbee Blue A's for five years. She also danced at Michelle's Dance studio, she also like to play in the mud. It could be on a quad or just making mud slides with her friends. She also loved to go hunting with her dad and Tyler."
The family went on to say in the letter that the Ohio Valley came together like nothing they had ever seen before. They're amazed at the generosity of the community and thanked everyone who took time out of their lives to hold benefits and make donation to help them.
