Students at Buckeye Local High School learned about dealing with issues like peer pressure, abusive relationships and drugs and alcohol on Thursday.
The "Bright Star" program is a workshop designed to help students recognize warning signs and patterns of abusive relationships. The pros and cons of social media were also a part of the discussion that students were able to participate in.
One student said, "It was very informative. It told us how social media impacts our life as well as drugs and alcohol people shared their personal stories and the effects it can have on our lives."
