MORGANTOWN, WV -

Award-winning actor, director, producer and writer William Shatner will be bringing "Shatner's World" to West Virginia at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 16 at the West Virginia University Creative Arts Center in Morgantown.

"Performing for audiences on the road has been one of the most gratifying experiences I've ever had as an actor," the former "Star Trek" actor said in a release. "My fans are the best in the world."

The 90-minute show will take audiences on a voyage through Shatner's life and legendary career, from Shakespearean stage actor to internationally known icon and raconteur. He is known as much for his unique persona as for his expansive body of work on television and film.

Tickets are on sale now and range from $46 to $153, depending on seat location and availability. Tickets are available at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, online at ticketmaster.com, or by calling 304-293-SHOW or 800-745-3000.
