Wheeling Park High School senior Geremy Paige has committed to continue his football career at California University of Pennsylvania.

The Vulcans are a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). They finished 7-4 last season, and are one of only two teams in the PSAC to have posted at least seven wins every season since 2005.

Paige, an inside linebacker, won the Huff Award as the best defensive player in West Virginia in 2013. He charted a whopping 156 tackles, had 12 sacks, and recovered 2 fumbles on an 11-2  Patriots' team that advanced to the Class AAA state semifinals. Paige is the first Huff Award winner in school history.

Paige was also recruited by the University of Toledo, along with West Liberty, Shepherd and Fairmont State in the Mountain East Conference. He was also visited by Texas Christian University.

Paige was recruited by Vulcans Defensive Coordinator Mike Lopez.
