One Taken to Hospital After Route 2 Crash Early Monday

One person was transported to the hospital and one person walked away with no injuries after an accident on Route 2 south, just past Fish Creek Road on Monday morning.
According to police, around 7:15 a.m. Monday, a truck and car collided causing the truck to flip onto its roof. The driver of the truck escaped uninjured, while the driver of the car was taken to the hospital for chest injuries likely caused by the airbag.
The driver of the truck was wearing his seatbelt.
Wreckers were on the scene around 8:30 a.m. cleaning up the site. Stay with wtrf.com for updates as we receive them.
