West Liberty's Kailee Howe has been named Mountain East Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season after leading the Hilltoppers to three road wins last week.

Howe, a 5-10 sophomore guard from Zanesville, Ohio, averaged 13.3 points, 10.6 assists and 6.3 rebounds as the Hilltoppers extended their winning streak to 7 games and moved into a second-place tie in the MEC standings.
After tossing in 17 points, handing out 13 assists and grabbing 7 rebounds in a 90-81 victory at West Virginia State on Monday, she came back with 8 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds in an 80-61 win at Concord on Thursday.
The sophomore star capped the week with a 15-point, 9-assist, 7-rebound performance in Saturday's 76-58 romp at UVA-Wise.
It's the third MEC Player of the Week honor for the West Liberty women this season. Howe was honored previously for the week of Nov. 25 while Liz Flowers was the Jan. 27 Player of the Week.
The Hilltoppers return home to host Shepherd on Thursday. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. at the ASRC.
