A Moundsville man has been charged with arson after authorities say he started a fire at his own home.
Moundsville Police said 32 year-old Timothy Albaugh started a house fire at 121 Olive Avenue on January 10. The police chief said it appears that gasoline was poured in the living room and dining room areas of the home.
Albaugh was arraigned on Thursday and was released on his own recognizance. Authorities said at the time of the fire, he was on house arrest for another crime. If convicted, he faces 2 to 20 years in jail.
