CHARLESTON, WV -

Jill Watkins has opened her own firm, Watkins Design Works, to provide commercial interior design and green building consulting services. 

She is a National Council for Interior Design Qualification-certified interior designer with more than 20 years of experience in commercial interior design, with more than 16 years devoted to sustainable design.

She earned a bachelor of science in interior design from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and worked for interior design, architecture and engineering firms in Cleveland and Boston before returning to Charleston in 2008. She was one of the founding members of the Cleveland Green Building Coalition and was chapter president of the International Interior Design Association in Ohio/Kentucky for four years.
