MONROE COUNTY, Ohio -

Laid-off workers from Ormet are getting valuable training from a new program dedicated to getting people back to work.

The "Digital Works" program launched in June of 2013 with the mission to connect people to jobs, and they currently have nine locations open across Ohio, including one in Woodsfield.

At the end of the six-week training, workers are guaranteed placement in a position that matches their skills and interests. So far, they've been able to secure placement for 80 program participants.
