The Juniata Eagles won a second straight ECAC Southwest Regional Championship on Sunday afternoon with an 82-67 win over Hood College at Bethany College.
Juniata was led by senior Brian Scholly with 24 points and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. The Eagles made 17-of-29 three-point shots, with Scholly making six-of-12 attempts. Seniors Kevin Stapleton and Dimitri Ross added 16 and 13 points respectively.
Sunday's game also ended the career of Juniata guard Jeremy Hays, who scored seven points and dished out eight assists. The former John Marshall High School standout finished his career as the school's all-time leader in steals and assists. He also scored over 1,000 career points.
Juniata finished the season at 18-10.
Hood, coached by Wheeling native Tom Dickman, got 16 points from Justin Bowens. The Blazers ended the season with a record of 18-11.
