The Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department has launched an on-line "Natural Gas Effects Survey."
The survey is an ongoing research project on Marcellus Shale gas drilling and its impact on air quality and public health. The goal is to provide voluntary sharing of environmental health concerns.
Ohio County Health Department Administrator Howard Gamble said the survey takes a look at residents' health as it relates to the national gas boom.
The survey takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete and all data is kept confidential. It can be found here.
