In Wyoming County, the search hasn't ended for several missing people.
In 2011, four people went missing from the small town of Matheny. Since then, two of them have been found.
Wyoming County Sheriff Randall Aliff told 59News he does believe there is a connection between the four missing people.
"I can say with almost 100 percent certainty that they all knew each other. Being in the close proximity of the Oceana and Matheny area, I do believe they knew each other," Aliff said.
In 2012, in Matheny, Rachel Toler's body was found in Stewart Cemetery, and just down the road, in the swimming pool behind an abandoned house, Chester Stewart was found.
Missing since 2011, Sheriff Randall Aliff continues to ask for the public's help in finding Brian Cook and Sherry Myers.
"The public plays a very important role because they hear things. If they contact us with what they hear then we can sort out what is of value to us. I don't think there's an agency around that would tell you they don't need the public's help in solving these cases," said Aliff.
In all missing person cases, Aliff said closure is the main goal.
"I've got 2 years and 7 months left in office and I would love to solve all these cases. I've known almost all the families and I want to do everything I can for closure for them and make arrests for the people responsible," he told us.
Sheriff Aliff wants to remind the public that all tips can remain anonymous.
