Court Date Set for Man Wanted in Connection With Wheeling Island Shooting
Treyvon Montgomery, who is facing robbery charges in connection with a shooting on Wheeling Island last week, will be back in court before Ohio County Magistrate Harry Radcliffe on April 21.
The 19-year-old had turned himself in to police earlier this week.
The shooting occurred on April 4 at 96 Maryland Street, and one person was transported to the hospital with a wound to the left side of his head after assailants entered the home unannounced and a struggle ensued.
At the time of the crime, officers interviewed multiple neighbors, some of whom said the neighborhood was taking a turn for the worse and the scene did not surprise them.
