NEW MARTINSVILLE - New Martinsville police are investigating after $2,100 worth of bath salts were found in a package at the New Martinsville Post Office.

New Martinsville Police Chief of Police Tim Cecil said the discovery was made on Thursday, and that no arrests have been made as of Friday morning. Cecil said the investigation is ongoing.

The discovery comes just weeks after New Martinsville Police arrested Wetzel County resident Chris Leek after an investigation suggested he was illegally receiving bath salts by mail.

Leek was taken into custody and remains behind bars in the Northern Regional Jail, charged with two counts of possession.
