Saturday marked the 10th Annual Ohio Valley Walk Now for Autism Speaks.
The walk was held on the Warwood Trail and Warwood Elementary. Over 300 participants and about 50 teams came out to raise funds, and awareness for autism in the Ohio Valley.
Tami Galla has been involved with the annual walk for the last eight years. She finds her passion for this event through her son who was diagnosed with autism, over 20 years ago.
"When we started this journey down the road of autism awareness 20 years ago, they didn't know anything, and to see so many people involved and getting the word out about what autism is and what kind of services there are out there for these kids, and what the future looks like for these kids. That's the big thing for me right now: what does the future look like," Galla said.
