Oak Glen High School senior Kelsey Chambers did all she could on Saturday during the second day of the West Virginia State Track Meet.
Chambers won the 800, 1600, 3200 and was the anchor on the Golden Bears' 4x8 gold medal winning relay team, and finished with a state-meet tying 32.5 points. Oak Glen finished second to Bridgeport in the Class AA team standings.
The Wheeling Park girls finished in sixth place, with the 4x1 relay team finishing third. Cristin Dolan finished third in the 300 hurdles.The Hurricane girls won Class AAA, followed by Washington, Winfield, Martinsburg and University. The Morgantown girls finished seventh, John Marshall was 16th.
The Wheeling Park boys brought home a ninth place finish. Richard Cummings was second in the 110 hurdles.
Parkersburg won the AAA boys crown, followed by Jefferson, Parkersburg South, Washington and University. Morgantown finished 17th with Brooke in a tie for 24th with Hampshire.
