Matt Jenkins and Beth Gardner have been promoted by Valley College to new positions of vice president.

Jenkins is the new Northern Region vice president and will oversee the school’s Martinsburg campus as well as expansion sites planned for the area. Jenkins, who has 10 years’ experience in education, has been with Valley College for three years. He resides in Winchester, Virginia.

Gardner is the new vice president for the Valley’s Southern region and will oversee the Beckley and Princeton campuses along with the school’s online offerings. The Fayetteville resident has been with Valley College for seven years.

Valley College came under new ownership in August 2011. With new leadership and direction, the college has seen an increase in enrollment, the addition of new programs and campus renovations for all of its locations.

Valley College is accredited through the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools and has been a part of the Martinsburg, Beckley and Princeton communities for more than 26 years.
