Attendant Suspected of Robbing Own Gas Station Let Out of Jail
BELMONT COUNTY -
A gas station attendant suspected of robbing the gas station he worked at has now been let out of jail.
Belmont County Prosecutor Dan Fry on Tuesday said formal charges were never filed against David Peach by his office and he wants to investigate more thoroughly before taking anyone into custody. Fry said he is looking at other individuals.
Peach was arrested by the Belmont County Sheriff's Department last week for the June 13th robbery of the Clark Gas Station in Lansing.
Because he was the person who called 911 and reported the robbery, he was arrested for inducing panic and conspiracy. Peach has been released from jail at the direction of the prosecutor while the incident is being investigated further.
