If you like barbecue and the WVU Mountaineers, there's an annual event right up your alley.
The Sugar Bowl Foundation announced Wednesday, July 9 the lineup of special guests for the 2014 Gold and Blue BBQ presented by Suzette Raines.
The event is an opportunity to fill up on food and talk with former West Virginia players. Fans will be able to meet and greet former players Major Harris, Robert Walker, John Pennington, Brad Knell, Mark Plants, Rasheed Marshall, Levi Phillips and Rick Sherrod among others.
All of the money raised from ticket sales will be donated to the St. Albans High School girls' athletic teams. Each program will use the funds to help with their financial needs in 2014-15.
The Gold and Blue BBQ will be at 6 p.m. July 18 at St. Albans High School. Tickets are $25 each and are on sale now. They can be purchased from members of St. Albans High girls' athletic teams, Charleston Department Store or Generations Barbershop.
