110-year-old woman shares her secret to a long life

A 110-year-old woman from New Jersey has some advice for living a long and enjoyable life — and it doesn’t sound like a bad plan.

Agnes Fenton turned 110 on Saturday, according to NorthJersey.com.

Her secret to a long life?

Fenton said she drank three Miller High Lifes and a shot of Johnnie Walker Blue Label every day for more than 70 years.

At this point in her life, she doesn’t follow her daily dose of booze because she doesn’t eat as much anymore.

Fenton did tell NorthJersey.com that she believes that God is the real reason that she’s lived this long, and that this recent milestone is “just another day.”

“When I was 100 years old, I went to the mirror to thank God that I was still here,” Fenton said. “And I thank him every morning.”

However, when asked if her caregivers would let her take a shot of Johnnie Walker for her birthday she said, “They better.”
