Two men involved in the murder of Gregg Thompson found out their punishment.

Roderick and Antonio Jones will serve more than 20 years behind bars combined.

Judge John Vavra handed out the sentences Monday afternoon.

Roderick will serve 12 years behind bars for involuntary manslaughter. His brother Antonio will serve a combined 10 years behind bars for involuntary manslaughter and a firearm charge.

The two entered an Alford Plea back in April to the lesser charge.

Judge Vavra mentioned in court that the two showed little remorse during the process.

“Until about two minutes ago I never once heard you say you were sorry for the death of this man. Everything you have even done in your letter has been about you. It’s all about the consequences on you nothing whatsoever like I said until a few minutes ago where you expressed any concern to the victim or his family,” said Judge Vavra.

Thompson’s murder happened back in November after a fight broke out and escalated.
