This time last week Tate Blanchard and Rachael Dierkes were just beginning their trip to New York City, visiting the sets of The Chew, The View and Good Morning America.
While on the set of The Chew, they actually had the opportunity to sit at the tasting table. Fans of the show know that means sampling all of the delicious foods, plus getting up close and personal with the hosts.
Tate and Rachael chatted with hosts Clinton, Carla, Daphne and Michael Symon, the show’s producer.
A familiar name for any foodie out there, Gordon Elliot, serves as the shows executive producer. When asked what makes the show so special, he said the shows success stems from its usefulness.
“You’re going to walk away with something that’s going to improve your day,” he said. “We call it a sticky show, that if you watch it, you get it. It’s got an energy and truth and a friendly feel that very, very few television shows ever have.”
More footage from the trip to the Big Apple, including interviews with the cast of The Chew and Good Morning America will be available on WTRF.com soon.
