African Wild Dogs Say Goodbye to Oglebay Good Zoo and Serval Cat Program Says Hello

The Oglebay Good Zoo is saying goodbye to its African Wild Dogs at the end of May.
The zoo is holding a special going away celebration on Saturday and Sunday,by giving the dogs special treats at 2:00 p.m. each day.
Zoo keepers are encouraging you to come out and see them one last time, before they’re gone.
While there is no word yet on what will replace the dogs, the zoo is excited to share the news on their new Serval Cat program.

“Guest will be able to see her in the window at the Veterinary hospital,” Joe Greathouse Good Zoo Director said. “We are also going to have special programs where guest can come in and pet her and get their picture taken with her as part of our Serval Surprise package that guest are able to sign up for.”

She will also be going around and visiting with local schools.
She is just 10 weeks old but will get up to 25 pounds.

Right now the Serval is still nameless.
Her arrival to the zoo was made possible by a donation from WesBanco.
