Akron Symphony Follows Drew Carey’s Suggestion, Exchanges Orchestra Tickets for Brown’s Tickets

Longtime Browns supporter Drew Carey, who is “fed up” with the team, suggested a way to bail on the Cleveland Browns and, instead, go to the symphony.

The Akron Symphony will let disgruntled fans exchange any Browns ticket from this season for a ticket to the symphony’s Home for the Holidays concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening at E.J. Thomas Hall in Akron.

The concert promises a night full of music and dancing, including performances by the Symphony Orchestra, the Akron Symphony Chorus, the Martel School of Dance, and more.

The crowd can join in a holiday sing along as Santa makes his appearance.

Kids can enjoy milk and cookies with Santa starting at 6:30 p.m., and are encouraged to come to the show in their pajamas so they’re comfortable.

Tickets can only be exchanged at the box office at E.J. Thomas Hall the night of the show.
