UPDATE: According to the Facebook page of Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, the missing children were located in Georgia and are safe and sound. The Georgia State Police found Ryan and Stacey Williams, and the children in Catoosa County, GA.

An Amber Alert has been issued after authorities said a woman kidnapped her children from a court-appointed guardian Saturday.  The Citrus County (Florida) sheriff’s office said they may be traveling to West Virginia.

The sheriff is asking people to watch for Stacey Williams, 38, her daughter, Rylan Williams, 3, and her son Mason Williams, 1.

The two children had been placed in a Lecanto area home by court order, and Stacey Williams had no legal right to take them.

Stacey Williams barged into the guardian’s home Saturday evening, and struggled with the guardian. She then grabbed her toddlers and fled, deputies said.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Williams.

Stacey Williams may be traveling with her husband, and the children’s father, Ryan Williams. The pair have a volatile relationship and are also drug users, authorities said.

They may be in a white 2004 Ford Expedition, with Florida tag DNS-C62.
