Angel Trees are great ways to help out children in need to choose a child’s name tag and buy some presents for them. Belmont County Animal Shelter is taking the concept of an Angel Tree and applying it to animals.
Angel Trees feature ornaments with child’s names. When an individual picks an ornament, they choose that child and buy some presents for them. Now the Belmont County Animal Shelter has a tree with pictures and description of each dog and cat at the shelter.
This Angel Tree will be in the Center Court of the Ohio Valley Mall Wednesday, Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 29 from 11 a.m. to 4. they’ll also have Christmas decorations, gift baskets and Christmas gifts for sale.
All other days this holiday season, the Animal Angel Tree will be located at the Belmont County Animal Shelter. They open at 10 a.m. every day except Tuesdays, when they’re closed to the public. They say
All the money goes to benefit homeless Belmont County animals.
