Apple is introducing more than 100 new and redesigned emojis.

The newly released emojis are focused on diversity and inclusion.

The company is introducing new and revamped emojis of women doing stereotypical male jobs. There is now a female detective, construction worker and police officer.

To be more inclusive, Apple has also included female athletes, a Pride flag and options for single parents.

Bad news for fans of the controversial pistol emoji. Apple is replacing the controversial pistol with a water gun.

Last year, an organization called New Yorkers Against Gun Violence started a campaign to get the tech company to scrap the pistol emoji.

A 12-year-old in Virginia was charged after allegedly threatening her school in a social media post that used a gun, knife and bomb emoji. In another case, a teenager in Brooklyn posted a police emoji with the pistol emoji pointed at his head, but the charges were later dropped.

According to CNN Money, Apple will release iOS 10 this fall. Anyone wanting to try the new emojis out can download the public beta of iOS 10 now.
