The United Steel Workers union will be meeting on Tuesday afternoon in Weirton to discuss contracts.

On Saturday, ArcelorMittal walked away from negotiations with the United Steel Workers Union. The U.S.W. proposed a contract on Friday, but the company refused the deal.

Union reps say ArcelorMittal is making unfair demands when it comes to things like pay, sick time, accident benefits and transfer rights.

ArcelorMittal in Weirton, WV has walked away from negotiations with the United Steel Workers Union.

The union proposed a contract that would meet their needs last night, and a short time ago the company refused the deal and management walked away from the bargaining table.

Union Representatives say ArcelorMittal is making unfair demands when it comes to things such as pay, sickness and accident benefits, and transfer rights.
