Local AT&T employees are helping families at the Catholic Charities get in the holiday spirit. On Monday, volunteers from the Highland’s retail store and the AT&T call center dropped off more than 100 gifts at Catholic Charities for 20 children.
Representatives with the company said they are always looking for ways to give back to their local community, especially during this time of year.
“When you think of Christmas, you think of the enjoyment of children. That’s what we really focused on this year. Where can we give back to our local kids. They’re going to enjoy it. You know they’re going to have excitement. That’s why we chose this organization, as they’re supporting kids in our community,” said Store Manager Kelly Baker.
Baker said the retail store also does similar events to benefit the community throughout the year.
