On Monday, donors can give the gift of life during the Blades and Badges Blood Drive at WesBanco Arena.
The Wheeling Nailers are teaming up with the Wheeling Police and Fire Departments and the American Red Cross to host the blood drive between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Donors who wish to save some time can register online and fill out their medical history, which will save about 15 minutes at the donation site. The form can be found online at www.RedCrossBlood.org.
Appointments can also be made by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS. Donors can use “Wheeling” as the sponsor code.
The American Red Cross encourages donors to drink plenty of liquids and eat something before donating.
