Bellaire Christian Church celebrated its 175th anniversary Sunday.
A special service was held in the afternoon to mark the occasion. During the service, the church recognized all of the past ministers and church leaders, and also recognized the oldest member.
Parishioners gathered to sing, pray, and hear the history of the church. They also held a congregational renewal of vowels and had a rededication prayer.
Church members also got to speak about what the landmark has meant to them over the years.
