People will have the chance to get some exercise and help out a great cause at the same time this weekend.
The local chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving will be holding a bike ride along the walking trail in Elm Grove on Saturday.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. at the Mason Rehab entrance of the trail. If you don’t want to ride, there are a number of other events as well.
“We have a car seat safety check point there,” MADD Advocate Jody Miller said.” They will check car seat installation, make sure it’s correct and answer any questions you have about infant car seats. Also, we will have Dan Pickens of the West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Association with a DUI simulator.”
The ride is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
