Bethany and St. Vincent were supposed to meet on Saturday but their basketball game was pushed back to Sunday by Winter Storm Jonas.

The extra day of preparation really helped the Bison as they jumped out to an early lead over the Bearcats who came in undefeated in the PAC.

The Bison were led by Calique Jones’ 19 points while Alan Harper and Antonio Rudolph each had 17 of their own.

Jaylon Bell and Bobby Swartwout led the Bearcats with 21 and 18 points respectively while Ben Kimchock had 16.

Bethany led by as many as 19 but St. Vincent came back to make it exciting. The Bison held on to win 81-76 to improve to 11-6 on the season with a 7-3 record in the PAC. Bethany next plays at Geneva on Wednesday.
