“Brave a Shave for Kids with Cancer” a fundraiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation was held on Saturday in Bridgeport.
Participants came out to have their heads shaved and raise money for St. Baldrick’s, which funds lifesaving children’s cancer research.
Participants said they’re happy to help out a good cause.
Others have been participating for years and have a person connection to the cause.
“I’ve been here every year,” Keith Bugaj said. “Three years now. I’m doing this because I have a friend that died of cancer, and I’m just glad my grandkids are all good.”
