Brooke High School Student/Alumni Art Show Concludes with Final Show Sunday


Sunday was the last day to check out the 2015 Brooke High School Student/Alumni Art Show.

The Brooke County Historical Museum and Culture Center has hosted the event all week at the museum location on Charles Street in Wellsburg.

Visitors are able to attend the conclusion of the show Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.

People’s Choice votes will be collected on Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. and the winners will be announce at 3:30 p.m.

A reception will be held in the museum social room from 3 to 4 p.m.

Judges for the show include: Brian Fenci, West Liberty State University Department Chair of Journalism and art, communication studies and visual art professor; Moonjung Kang, West Liberty State University associate professor of graphic design; and Patricia Croft, Director at the Children’s Museum of the Ohio Valley and co-owner of Arts and Crofts in Wheeling.

The art show is sponsored by the Brooke High Art Club and the Brooke County Historical Museum and Culture Center.

The event is free and open to the public.
