Harmony House received a large donation Saturday thanks to the hard work of the Brothers of the Wheel.
This is the twelfth year the Brothers of the Wheel have supported Harmony House.
In September, the Brothers held a Charity Bike Ride and, combined with other fundraisers, were able to donate more then $16,000.
The check was presented at Valley Harley-Davidson Saturday where the Brothers said they are just happy to lend a helping hand.
“It’s amazing how every year people donate to us and open their wallets up on that day. It’s just totally amazing,” said James Mead, President of the Brothers of the Wheel, Northern West Virginia chapter.
Over the last 12 years, the Brothers of the Wheel have raised more than $150,00 to Harmony House. This year’s donation was the largest yet, and they are hoping to continue to raise even more money in the future.
