A new restaurant has officially opened its doors at the Highlands.
Bubba’s Burghers had its soft opening Monday morning. The restaurant doesn’t have its liquor license yet, but that should be approved by next week. You can still go order from the menu and check out the art work on the walls, which is all available for purchase. But management says what really sets the restaurant apart is what goes into their burgers.
“We have a proprietary blend. It’s unlike no other burger you’ll ever taste. We use four different cuts of steak. We have a New York, a strip steak, a brisket and a ribeye. It’s mixed every day. We are fresh, not frozen. We don’t have a freezer in the building,” said Regional Manager Stephen Browning.
The owner, Bubba, says he is excited to be opening this restaurant in Wheeling, as he is a Bethany College graduate.
Right now, the restaurant is open from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m..
When they do receive the liquor license next week, they will begin normal business hours, which are 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 11:00 a.m. to Midnight on Friday and Saturday.
