The case against a Wheeling woman who allegedly killed a kitten during an argument with her boyfriend has been bound over to circuit court.
Brianne Layman was in court Thursday in front of Magistrate Charlie Murphy.
Her boyfriend and a police officer who responded to the scene took the stand.

Layman is charged with domestic battery and cruelty to animals after police say she picked up a two-month-old kitten and threw it against the wall during a fight.
Her boyfriend reportedly immediately picked the kitten up, but it died in his arms.
She is being held in the West Virginia Northern Regional Jail under a $4,000 bond.
